EDIT (01/08/2007) I finally received my copy of the book yesterday and start browsing the pages to look for my work. Sure enough I’m listed in the index at the back of the book as being featured on page 7. I flip to page 7 and find to my surprise that the image credited to me is not my work at all. Going through the book again (you know, it could be a production error) to look for my work with a wrong credit I find nothing. Conclusion: somewhere out there is the designer of the image on page 7, cursing my name…
Original entry:

I completely forgot I contributed work for this, until I got a letter from the publisher saying the book is in their warehouse and I can get a copy at a big discount (which is canceled out by the international P&P of course).
Anyway, Design Elements: A Graphic Style Manual by Timothy Samara (Rockport Publishers) is out now.
I can’t even remember what I sent in…

I was wondeering about that. I did the same thing and the work didn’t look like anything that I had seen of yours. I suppose someone should initiate a manhunt for the unknown designer.
